Arkki was founded in Finland in 1993 and is the world's leading school of architecture and creative education for children and youth from 4 to 19 years old. We have opened our doors to Singapore with the aim of building a systematic and progressive creative education ecosystem for children and youth, connecting them to their peers throughout ASEAN, Asia and with Finland through international camps, projects and exchange programmes.
In Finland, the Arkki curriculum has since integrated into the national extra-curricular creative program and is endorsed by the Finnish Ministry of Education & Culture. Arkki is also certified by the Finnish National Agency for Education to export the Finnish education know-hows to the rest of the world. For over 25 years, Arkki has organized thousands of courses and workshops for more than 20,000 children in more than 20 countries.
Workshops at KADA

[June Holiday] - Inventor's Lab: Wonder Toy!
From Sketch to Working Prototype. MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE WORK. Starting with a simple idea, students design their own toy and bring it to life as a working 3D prototype. Through drawing, planning, and building, they explore how ideas evolve - and what it takes to make something actually function.

[June Holiday] - Bubble Homes, Feeling Domes
Designing Spaces for Emotions. MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE FEEL. What does joy look like? How would you design calm? Through exploring emotions as a starting point, students create environments that reflect how we feel - translating abstract ideas into physical spaces through colour, form, and design.

[June Holiday] - Marble Mayhem!
Build Together. Make It Work. MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE MOVE. This isn’t just building a marble track, it’s about figuring things out, side by side. Parents and children work together to design and build a track that actually runs, learning how small decisions, adjustments, and shared thinking bring ideas to life. Not everything will work at first. That’s where the real experience begins.

[June Holiday] - Lights Out, Story On!
Shadow Theatre + Digital Video Storytelling. MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE TELL STORIES. From storyboarding to production, students explore how stories take shape through light, shadow, and the lens. They develop their own narratives, bring them to life through shadow theatre and digital video storytelling, and culminate in a film showcase where their creations are presented on screen.

[June Holiday] - Into The Wild: Creature's Quest
Hybrid of Island Experience @ Sentosa + Studio Session. MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE LIVE. Set across Sentosa’s beach and greenery, this workshop begins with real-world exploration before moving into design. Students observe environments, imagine their own creatures, and return to the studio to build habitats designed for survival - connecting imagination with purpose.

The Curious Table @ KADA
The Curious Table is a walk-in, drop-off making session where children explore materials, ideas, and hands-on building at their own pace. A place where kids tinker, experiment, and follow their curiosity — without fixed instructions or pressure to “finish” something. Each visit is different. Children may build, assemble, draw, stitch, or combine materials depending on what’s on the table that day. The focus is on exploration, problem-solving, and creative confidence.

After School Short Bursts
After School Short Bursts are focused, hands-on studio sessions where children explore Maths, Science, and History through building, testing, and making. Instead of worksheets or drills, children learn by experimenting with materials, adjusting, and discovering how things work through action. From understanding structures and forces, to exploring geometry and scale, to learning about places and design, each session turns school concepts into something they can see, touch, and figure out for themselves.
Long-Term Courses

Weekly Architecture & Design for 10-13 y.o.
Let math, science, geography, storytelling and design thinking come together! Children aged 10–13 take on real-world challenges - from reimagining cities to designing buildings, products and game environments. Through sketching, prototyping and model-making, they'll learn to design with purpose, gaining skills in creative thinking, collaboration, and systems design.

Weekly Architecture and Design for 7-9 y.o.
This is where math, science, art & storytelling come to life - through design! The Arkki Explorers is a weekly hands-on workshop for children aged 7–9. From shelters to story worlds, kids create 3D models while learning how shapes, materials, light and nature affect design. Along the way, they will develop imagination, observation and problem-solving skills.
